Sure, too much drama. I just don't like the fact that everyone likes to talk a lot about sincere criticism and not letting it turn into a circlejerk, but when someone deviates from the accepted line, it's unacceptable, unless he's also a noob, in which case he's dragged out back and shot. I get that. I think people were a little harsh on the new kid, too. FWIW, when Chris first started posting here, the "accepted line" was pretty hostile to him. There were a few of us who liked his outfits, and a lot of vocal people, many of them "old-timers", who hated them. To the extent that the SF Party Line is that Chris is a stylish motherfucker, he seems to have achieved that on his own. Whether that's due to his stylish motherfuckerness or mere exposure effect, we will probably disagree on, but Chris hasn't exactly been exempt from criticism here.
