Sure, too much drama. I just don't like the fact that everyone likes to talk a lot about sincere criticism and not letting it turn into a circlejerk, but when someone deviates from the accepted line, it's unacceptable, unless he's also a noob, in which case he's dragged out back and shot.

I get that. I think people were a little harsh on the new kid, too. [IMG] FWIW, when Chris first started posting here, the "accepted line" was pretty hostile to him. There were a few of us who liked his outfits, and a lot of vocal people, many of them "old-timers", who hated them. To the extent that the SF Party Line is that Chris is a stylish motherfucker, he seems to have achieved that on his own. Whether that's due to his stylish motherfuckerness or mere exposure effect, we will probably disagree on, but Chris hasn't exactly been exempt from criticism here.

Lots of nice pieces, but they don't work together IMHO. Too much colour clash for me. I like the shoes, what model are they?

They are "Strand". It's discontinued, however.

Compared to SunnO))), yup, I agree. I think the bigger venues, like the Wiltern tonight kill the atmosphere of seeing bands like this play, watching them at the Troubadour a few years ago was probably as good as it gets. I just like to support decent bands when they're in town.

Amazing, an OTR jacket with sleeves that are too long for me, first time I've ever had that happen, haha. I'll prolly shorten them 0.5" or so.

I'm slightly exaggerating, but their formula is pretty basic. You going to Russian Circles on Thurs? I might skip out on Red Sparowes (another snooze fest).

Was out walking and dropped into a banana republic just to take a picture. Wish the lighting was as good in my condo. Unfortunately a boring fit but at least you should be able to see it better than normal.

thanks for the comments guys... timboplete: sorry to disappoint, but the shirt happens to drape like that in the photo maybe because my hands in my pockets. But it's Yohji, so the piece is pretty drapey anyway... count me in for St. Paddy's day festivities: [IMG] jacket - Helmut Lang from 1998 reversible pinstripe shirt jacket - Y's jeans - 45 RPM sorahikos cordovan bluchers - Alden shot of shirt's details as seen through cuffs: [IMG]

^^^^ GS! I'm surprised by the cut of the S & H trousers, they look good, I presumed they would be chasing mass accounts by offering the "everyman" fit in all categories, I guess not, unless you sized down 5?
