1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Augusto, Are the LDBs new? I know you've posted that blazer before a few times, but it really does fit great. Thumbs up from me. Also, nice hawk. [IMG]

I actually really like the dog.

I am also trying not to be an Internet Creep. Every time a woman posts in this thread, half the guys immediately turn into horny adolescents.

The notion that by complimenting a girl automatically makes you an "internet creep" is absolutely retarded. The various comments on everything but the fine ass struck me as amusing. It's like, there's a pink elephant in the room and everyone is pretending to ignore it.

"Oh I can't say what I really am thinking because I don't want to be an internet creep!!! OMG!!! Must - Suppress - Natural - Response..."

I only said what any red-blooded (straight) male is already thinking.

But do you say everything you think, in any context? I figure, if a girl--well, actually, anyone--is posting outfits in WAYW, there are a few possibilities. She (or he) could be a) looking for advice, or at least reactions, to the outfit; b) s/he could be looking for reassurance; c) s/he could just be an attention whore. I err on the side of (a) until proven otherwise, personally. And if someone's posting an outfit looking for advice, tips, etc, and instead gets a lot of guys saying "nice ass".... Am I the only one who thinks this makes the forum look like a bunch of undersexed teenage guys? Creep was the wrong word, though, I grant you that.

Great question. Actually, I'm practicing it as much as I can. Ever since I read a book called Radical Honesty, it's really changed the way I think about communication in our culture. So yes, I do experiment quite a bit with it, even offline and the results are often surprisingly positive.

Saying exactly what you're thinking in any context is definitely a risk. That's actually what the author of that book advocates. It isn't easy.

Well those are good points. I just can't be bothered about what a bunch of internet peeps think of me. Sometimes I practice here.

Well in that case, cheers! [IMG] Promise to post the most entertaining results of your radical honesty policy? It could be fun for those of us who are pretty tightly self-censored. (No sarcasm.) Also, remember: [IMG]

Some of us prefer to be self-censored. If not, I'm sure I would have been banned by day 1 from this place.

Braid, too, he's posted pics with his cat before. Braid, I like your cat, man. Call me. [IMG]

I would, but you're not my type sauce. Maybe if you had an ass and a bigger chest I'd be tempted.
