This post is old, but I just noticed it from the WAWN contest page. That tie is done by a local group in Detroit. The designer is a client and most of the clothing featured on the men on her site are from our store. The world just seems so small sometimes. I'm glad to see the line on someone so far away. You wear it well!!
Karissa, the world is small indeed! I got introduced to the line by a nice young man from the U.S. who came into my shop during the art fair last year. He said he knew someone who made ties and was sure the look would fit in here. The rest, as they say, is history.

Tim, just thought I'd join the lovefest. +1 on the last fit. How tall are you, if you don't mind me asking? The EG proportions work so well on you.

soulstylist, are the boots pre-distressed or have you worn them in?

...pre-distressed years ago, so also worn in - the distressing used to have more contrast, which I didn't like so I treat them with cream and wax...

@ CDC: where did you get snow? Is that at your house or did you go up to the mountains? It hasn't even rained here in days. edit: to keep this about style I feel like I should make related comments, normally I would criticize the Burberry scarf as garish but it actually looks good here even though you can see the branding in the picture. I like that it isn't novacheck.
The snow-shot is indeed my back yard - it was earlier this week. I'm in Woodinville for the course of my recovery. Northeast Woodinville's weather is even different from downtown Woodinville. We're the first to get snow and the last to lose it. As far as the scarf, I like the pattern/colors and I generally like my scarves to be the color for my outfits. Not only is it not the disturbingly ubiquitous Novacheck; it's a fake, it says BurberryS, and I love that.

yes, it's buffalo check shawlneck cardigan from polo f/w 07, in wool.
Damn, I don't remember seeing that online. Was it in-store only? I'll have to nab one if they show up on ebay.

i can't believe i didn't read that w+h sale thread in time, i wanted that flannel so bad.

jeans look just as charcoal-y as my wings + horns blacks. fit is good but bunches up weirdly because of the stiffness. have you soaked?

Yea, i really like the color of those jeans. I'm sure they're going to be a bitch to break in and get softer though. Good luck with that.

They fit pretty nice above the knee. I'd just keep manually pushing the stacks down till they sit how you like. Kinda like training your bangs!
