I know it's not always the look you go for, brett, but i think that looks good. Very dior hommeish with the layering and arm warmers.

Thanks, I didn't like it at all until I put the warmers on. Funny you mention DH, it's actually a Rick Owens knockoff I think. I was afraid it was a little too "Obi Wan Kanobi" style for me haha

Is that a trilby? I've been looking to get a black felt or straw one.

Looks to be. I think his hair makes the hat really work though.

    halifamous - cool shoes

I bought this jacket from someone who bought it from zipia. I just tried it on to take a couple photos of the fit and I don't think I'll ever be able to pull it off but it's kinda cool. I doubt it will stay in the closet much longer. The shirts aren't really that short, the jacket is kinda pulling them up a bit.

    Thanks.

If you decide against the jacket, PM me, I may cop.

BrettChaotix, +1 on the other compliments. The look is good. And the shirt(s) look just the right length to me, actually--if that's the result of the jacket pulling them up a bit, maybe you should get them hemmed. [IMG]

Are these Nudie's Grim Tims? I've recently purchased a pair and I'm so excited about one day being able to wear them - once my surgery wound heals [IMG]

Yeah, it could work with other hairstyles, but the longer hair makes hats look cooler sometimes. My hair won't grow like that anymore, if ever, bastard!

really classy man. I really like it. I'm guessing the outfit is out of my price range at the moment but I'm going to ask anyway for brands....

Also, do you wear your Alden high boots with jeans?

with his hair, the hat looks stupid. it's like a grown man's vanilla ice hat, barely resting on his head

    Peacoat - Udeshi
    Sweater - J.Crew
    Shirt - J.Crew
    Tie - Polo
    Trousers - MacHay
    Socks - Paul Smith
    Shoes - C&J for Polo

All of those were scored on sale (the Udeshi coat was a real steal too).

Re: My Alden boots with jeans - I don't actually, as most of the denim I have are lighter washes and they do not really look good together. I'm getting a pair of tan wingtip boots in a few months though, and those will work quite well.
