This would be perfect if you switched those bootcuts for some straightlegs. If those gloves are black, extra props.

Funny, I was thinking the exact opposite!. I think the jeans with no break are the biggest problem. The cut, wash and color also ruins the rest of the outfit. I also detest the heel on the boots, especially with the jeans; they make his feet look small. I figured by now Augusto would have moved beyond the faux whiskered denim.

I only have two pairs of raw denim, actually, and every once in a while I get sick of wearing them.

But I really do need another pair.

^ That would look a lot better with boots to fill the leg opening and compliment the motorcycle jacket.

Well, the big problem with pairing boots with a motorcycle style leather jacket, is people invariably ask 'did you ride a motorcycle today?' entirely missing that it was a fashion choice. It looks a little too calculated (like the all-cowboy thing: boots, western shirt, belt buckle, bolo tie, etc.) I'm actually down with the /// Sambas, but I loathe anything but cowboy boots with boot-cut denim. I have always hated sneaker + boot-cut look. It makes the legs and feet look caricature/cartoon-like (mega man, anyone?)
As far as a MC style jacket is concerned, you're much better off with a vintage (script logo) Brooks cafe racer, for sure. But If you really want to go legit, an old horsehide Buco!

I hope I'm not sounding too neg here [IMG] Vintage leather and denim was my thing for a long time.

+1. Relatively small changes, but worlds better.

Augusto, mind if I ask how tall you are?

I think the heel on the brandos stood out a lot in that other shot mainly because of the angle. I've got a pair myself, love em to death.

If the jeans were just a little smaller around the opening so you could see the whole sole, it wouldn't look so, well, girly. (NTTATWWT) It just reminds me of girls wearing bootcuts and their heel sticking out separately from the front of the shoe/boot. You could probably have the bottoms of the jeans taken in 1" and they would look a lot better IMO.

Yeah, I agree. Maybe I'll have the PDC's taken to a tailor and slimmed down past the knee. They are actually faded by wear as much as by design. Thanks for the props, all. But this place is making my budgets taking a beating! 5'9", to whoever asked. Rye, I think you're just having sour grapes now that I have the most rocking hair on SF! [IMG] [IMG]
