1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

How big are those clodhoppers you got there shore 13s?

    10.5. Love the chunk.

"Tonight we turn to a story about a true 'Fashion Victim.' This evening in Washington, DC, a male, aged 35, suffered massive trauma to the body and head and was fatally wounded while standing in the middle of the road taking what internet fashionistas refer to as a 'fit pic.' Family members were not available to comment but internet friends, who knew him as Shoreman1782, described him as 'the workwear type.' Commonly seen walking around Chevy Chase and North Clarendon Boulevard, in Arlington, Virginia, Shoreman1782 loved his Red Wings. It is a sad day for the members of StyleForum.net who are mourning his passing by cremating his Gentleman Travelers and one entire Rick Owens outfit. He is survived by Jet, RyeGB and gravitas."

Ha. 35 [IMG] Mainly seen in Arlington and CC? You know how to hurt me, sq.

Road was closed. Got a hard time from a couple on superfuture about snagging jeans and red wings w/ bike, but I never seem to have a problem with either. Maybe I ride bikes wrong?

Phat - Looks like someone took the last photo at almost knee height. I have seen other fashion photographers do the same thing. Why does that produce a better photo? Seems like it should make the photo worse, since no one views people from that angle as they walk down the street. Yet it ends up looking right.

Good fit Jwied, but not feeling the cuff.

PS that Superfine trench looks better on you than in the Forward pics.

    - a few factors.. Depth of Field & dunno, maybe angle..
    - This was taken from about 30ft & the only stable surface I could find was a brick garden wall which is about 1ft.

    - true.. But you obviously have not used or seen a Leica M8.. It is a hunk of metal & being a range-finder there is no auto focus
    - FWIW pulling out a Leica M has a very different effect to a DSLR or a P&S. Most within a few feet become curious (in a good way).. Tell them its for the internet, they start to sit up & play.. [IMG]

'Tis true, I have not. But that camera's a beauty. I know I'm in the presence of a master perv.

I also sense you're downplaying the effect your charm and dapper dress have on them too. Plus vague promises of internet fame go a long way ;-)

Dunno. Won't argue if he wants to hem, but I like that cuff dimension.
