1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

You appear to have lost a lot of weight in recent months, Moo.

Thank you - about 20 pounds to date. It has slowed down a bit, mostly due to me not having the time in the past month or so to do as much of my own cooking as I'd like.

Interesting - re: aeglas. That's actually an incredibly close rendition of that movie/era/style. I'd still go with a normal roll, though [IMG]
I don't even mind how tall the cuff is, it just looks about three or four inches too high. It's a real "house of mirrors" effect on me because the longer I stare at the bottom half of the fit the shorter he gets.

Don't worry about that dumbshit. If he had his way, no one could call out people who dress like shit because everyone is a beautiful flower in their own way. God forbid that someone could just look bad but that's not possible because that shitty look is actually just his own style that isn't sf approved. Not to mention that this forum has a fair amount of people who are open minded to a lot of styles and have even worn various outfits from business casual, americana, mod, gothninja, futurey, preppy, etc.... Usually the bad outfits are just lameasses like jonhetcht trying to look sf approved but failing (despite it being fairly easy to do).

I'd rather do a futuristic catburglar dad kinda look well than still fail to pull off an easy "sf approved" look over and over and over

I'm happy to acknowledge there's plenty of rubbish posted in this thread; you're a good example, Chrono, but what rubs me is the holier than thou snark that certain posters are forced to endure it.

    Cry me a river.

Well, your holier than thou "above the internet" snark is obviously the correct kind of snark to use. I'll be sure to tailor my future posts as not to offend you.

It is a rather odd jacket, indeed. The lapels have a soft roll, but it isn't a 3/2 or anything. It is 100% cotton and it has full-canvassing. The shoulders actually have a little too much padding for my liking, but it is a fun sportcoat IMO and I had almost no jackets with me.

But yeah, the jeans aren't as tight as they seem, although they did fit better before I started biking.

And lastly, yest hey are monks, I didn't like them with skinnies initially but for some reason I do like them with my (n)ines. I'm going to start wearing more trousers, so that should address the last too (i'm getting some [slightly] looser jeans soon).

Yeah, I know, it is mediocre at best, I wasn't going to post it but shit was getting off with the four fit pics and all that. I think better photography may help slightly. Sorry.

    i just talk mad shit.

<3 it really isn't that bad

brett- i always think you could use better shoes when you sport those kinds of fits. you always wear the jps and they're just kinda eh for your stuff.

I hear ya - those aren't even jp's, they are just plain chucks. I would have worn suede desert boots but it was raining last night. I need to learn to treat my shoes/boots better than I do now before I pull the trigger on something nicer.

Yeah if someone isn't posting pics, I find its usually something along the lines of

    *expensive watch
    *expensive pants
    *expensive shirt
    *expensive belt
    *expensive jacket
