1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Copy-post from Men's Clothing, cos never quite sure which thread jeans/tie fits in...

A little bit Bullitt today (sans polo neck). New (used) chukkas, which are fast becoming my favourites

Aeglus - Some good advice in your post. I only wear wool ties (or maybe a 60s tie) with jeans, and both have to be slim / skinny. Easy to get shirts taken in, and it makes a huge improvement as long as the shoulders aren't too big, and the sleeves not too loose. You are spot on about dark shirts - strictly for casual patterns. Dark dress shirts look shite, and double shite with a tie.

    - always
I'm going to give you some honest advice before everyone starts thinking they're awesome and starts trying to dogpile you or something:

-shirt's color clashes with its form: dress shirts should be light colored, darker colored shirts should have pockets or something to make them more casual
-if you're going for a tie, then your belt is far too casual. you need a single prong belt
-jeans and tie rarely mix well, and dark colored shirts and tie almost never
-shirt sleeves look sort of baggy, not sure how baggy the body is
-jeans look like they are too big in the waist, causing that scrunched up look in the top block

    unrelated to your clothes:
-I think you need a different hair style
-If your only option for taking pics is mirror, suggesting that you smile or cut out your face because people are going to start saying how you look angry or something dumb when you aren't looking for those comments
-picture quality really means a lot in getting some honest comments

I don't mean to offend at all, just what I see, I dressed really terribly 6 months ago, now I'm at least decent for here after taking some advice.

    - you have more patience than the interwebz.. More power to you..
nathan was nice enough to break out the lights & camera last night at farinelli's ... hanging out for a minute w him, albert, mauro
    hat -eugenia kim
    sweater -madewell
    tshirt -lucky brand
leggings -bebe (first and only time i've ever walked into a bebe store, so gross but those leggings were calling my name... i think they're hysterically awesome)
    heels -ysl (my fav)

    - KAPOW!

In all seriousness the jacket is too nice for the rest of your outfit. At least rock some boots or something.
