1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Fok on behalf of the entire Styleforum team

A lot of people on this forum look ridiculous. Everyone looks either ridiculous or boring. Lots of dudes spend an absolute fortune to look completely mediocre. There might be 3 or 4 guys here who actually have "style."

Uncontrol is obviously over the top and flamboyant, but at least his fits are creative and eye catching, unlike the rest of the styleforum borg.

he only stands out here because most posters here are fairly conservative. matthew lesko would stand out too, doesn't mean he looks good.

There are occasionally some pretty cool fits from others, but come on, you've got to admit that styleforum is something of a misnomer.

If someone is looking for inspiration for style, I wouldn't suggest this place. It's more of a place to learn the basics.

I hardly look at WAYWT but a lot of contributors look cool from time to time. Say BARIMS, Vanna, Kunk, Socal. I also like Bobo and a bunch of the workwear dudes. Not everyone wants to be flashy either.

You also have to understand that I can dress like I want and have the budget for it, frankly it changes a lot of things. You're not gonna see me in an untucked button down, some raw jeans and crepe soled whatever. That's like a girl who decides to wear smart casuals when fucking Balenciaga, Chalayan and Ackermann exists, fuck that.

They're black and I like em a lot. Actually, they're rather grey and not as black as I was expecting. Fading should be interesting.

GoSurface, willy cheesesteak, Barims, aeglus, Phat Guido, mellowfellow, and berlin report all come to my head that deserve to be on that list, maybe i'll remember more later.

Hrmm, i was hoping those were the indigos. Both colors look pretty dull (and not dark) in SelfEdge's pics [IMG]. I'll probably kop indigos anyways eventually (if my size doesnt run out in a few weeks).

    ervell bomber 06
    dries plaid b/u
    hm pants
    white court shoes

To the sls in LA, I'll be the one smoking a cigar in a sea of mediocrity and excessive cologne.

With a simple white shirt, I would have fully endorsed this fit. That coat is really sweet.

i think those florals are uncontrols trademark. are those jeans the sf-unapproved ones you picked up at h&m?

It's funny because I was thinking that every pic I've seen from him has been a basic combo of a v-neck, jeans, and some brandos.

Probably when Fok decided to go for something more historically accurate.
