1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

^ I agree that the sweater picture is really, really bad. I was surprised to see the very decent shot below it. I couldn't believe it was the same person. Maybe camera angle contributes?

i didn't even notice it was the same person until i read this post

This one's from the Spanish fashion blog Prendas Publicas. They met me last week when I snuck into the Alice Temperley afterparty at Sketch:

The camera didn't pick up the stripes on my shirt or my slacks, but c'est la vie

I think the hair's going later this week

    Awesome.

Sorry if it hits too close to home for you.

We need to get our own reunion going. I'll be in NYC next week if you think you'll be able to free yourself from your croc x minivan hell.

What do you get tailored on the J. Crew? I have a similar build as you and J Crew Small looks nothing like that on me.
I get the side seams recut to fit me proper, armholes raised, sleeves slimmed and all that jazz, but darts are the key to that really nice profile in the pic. Each dart is a flap of about an inch on the inside, meaning -4 inches off the circumference.

    Agreed. Love it.

If I had to pick a weak point, I'd say the shoes, but really, they're ok.
