Folks,
I have one old suit jacket (trousers also) that I didn't use much. Though I have bought new ones for special purposes- this old one is still part of my wardrobe. The coat fits perfect but now that I am no more 32 inch waist size man.. the matching pant doesn't fit anymore.

I tried in Louis Philippe stores for this type of clothe to get the matching trouser with my size but as it was bought in 2005 (Appr $133 in 2005), its no more available in their stores/website.

Can this be used as Blazer Coat with other pants?

Clothe used is Polyster,
No top breast pockets, two side pockets, No Vents at all, Plastic buttons.
Its 3 Button suit coat.
Color - Dark Grey
Unable to upload images- You can see it in my profile avatar

Thanks,
Vish

No, that very much looks like it is from a suit. The color and details are not those associated with an odd jacket or blazer.

  • You will never find a pair of trousers to match an existing jacket for older RTW jackets. The whole of the production run will have been used for suits and given the precision use of cloth to avoid waste in such factories, the chance of their being more that a few slivers the size of a floor cloth even is remote.
  • Orphaned suit jackets are namely that and do not make blazers or sports coats. The cut is different and they appear what they are left over rags.
  • Polyester is not a suitable cloth for anything, if cloth it be. Old bottles recycled would be a better description.
  • It looks dreadful as well.

You'll find no love any such things here so, melt it on a fire and rid yourself of the thing.
