The two sizes down rule only applies to APC, not raw denim in general.

I'll let someone else weigh in on the sizing.

    holy hell.

There are many retailers of Sterlingwear....

Here's one I found that ships to Australia (for a little less than half of what Sterlingwear charges):

Thanks for trying Brian ... but unfortunately no good to me "Color: Navy-Blue Only". All the sites i found with Google either only had Black (I'd like grey), or didn't ship to Australia.

Can you recall how much shipping was for yours ?

I wonder if it will be worthwhile for me to get it shipped to someone in the US, and them have them ship it to me.

I need to retire a pair of olive-green canvas shorts that are beyond repair.

Anyone have a suggestion for a similar pair? Surplus is out, prefer inseam no longer than 8", some interesting details preferred (i.e., I already know I could get a pair of khaki shorts from Jcrew), under $100.

I've yet to find BDU shorts that fit me alright. Always too baggy--a 34-36 waist in those things is a pretty big pair of shorts.

Hey all. Im very new to this forum and have been browsing it for the past few days.

Just want to get some feedback from all you denim aficionados on this forum...

After browsing this forum I found that the two new hottest brands that everyone seems to be wearing is Nudie and APC? Is it because of the raw denim that they are coming out with? Is raw denim what everyone seems to be flocking towards/have flocked towards?

More specifically, I want to find what the latest "trends" in the denim world is right now. I'm also interesting in finding out which brand is the most innovative when it comes to making jeans that every other denim brand wants to be?

And lastly, I am curious to see what kind of fit everyone seems to be wearing right now ( I have browsed for a bit, and am under the conclusion that skinny/slim fits are it..but I want to be sure first)?

    Thanks guys!

P.S. this forum is very very addictive.

Depends on what you mean by hot. Nudie and APC probably have the highest ownership here, but they're not the most coveted jeans. Yes, most people here wear raw denim.

That's something you'll understand after you've been browsing for a while longer. As far as the jeans most other brand wants to be, I'd probably say Dior Homme.

We have a thread at the top of the page with pictures of what people are wearing. Skinny/slim fits are preferred here by most people, but most people are skinny/slim.

    quick question...

i'm planning on getting a pair of APC New Standards.

if i normally wear a size 34 Levis 501, 33 Gap Morrisons, and 33 Nudie Slim Jims, should i get a 32 APC NS?

i'm about 5'6"-5'7" and weigh about 143-145 lbs.

    what do you guys think?

31 would be tight but manageable. 32 would be comfortable.
