Does anyone recognize this box/these AE's? Any idea how old they are?

Well, quality from that period varies a bit. Those in the picture look like corrected grain calf. However, old AE corrected grain was pretty good stuff, higher quality that current production, in my view. You can see the beveled wait on the sole, a good sign. The number of stitches per inch was much higher in those days too. Generally a lucky find, in unworn condition as these are.
