Kiton still looks 100x better than most of what I see on WAYWN (**** my eyes, I looked today for awhile) including many of the things from some of the superstars, bespoke or otherwise.

+1, if you can carry it well. I tried on Kiton SC at Sak's once, and as espoused elsewhere, it is so light and conforming, it really does feel like you're not wearing a jacket - maybe a sweater at best - and this was before any tailoring. I looked so good, I would have turned a lesbian straight. This is hard to replicate, and doing so with bespoke will take a lot of patience and fittings. Now only if I had an extra $4K.

+100. I think most people here terrible taste anyway. Though I'm not one to talk as I always look like ****. Besides, bespoke is hugely overrated, IMHO. There are only a handful of tailors that can make you a better suit than OTR. I should add: the few people with great style who I know in real life don't wear expensive clothing anyway (with one exception) and always make surprisingly cheap things look desirable.

Actually, from what I have heard, read and seen myself personally, all of the suits (as well as all of the dresses, jackets, morning coats, overcoats, skirts, tailcoats, trousers, tuxedos and vests) I have seen from the following tailors are far superior to Kiton suits (as well as all of the dresses, jackets, morning coats, overcoats, skirts, tailcoats, trousers, tuxedos and vests from Kiton) in every conceivable way: Richard Anderson, Limited, (of Savile Row in London, England) Sartoria Gaetano Aloisio (in Rome, Italy), the three Caraceni operations (Augusto Caraceni Milano, Domenico Caraceni Roma and Ferdinando Caraceni Milano), the two Sartoria Antonio Panico operations (Sartoria Antonio Panico Napoli and Sartoria Antonio Panico Roma), Andrew Ramroop/Maurice Sedwell (of Savile Row in London, England) and the two Rubinacci operations (Rubinacci Milano and Rubinacci Napoli). Yes, Kiton and all of the tailors that I mentioned in the paragraph of this reply message above do, in fact, make women’s clothing. In fact, just like the men’s clothing that Kiton and from all of the tailors that I mentioned in the paragraph of this reply message above make, women's clothing is 50% of their production and sales.

Seems like the high-end makers can come up with special fabrics in special colors. I have a Brioni jacket in spring green/blue windowpane in a bamboo/silk mix. It's a fantastic color in the spring, it's got a beautiful hand and the overall feel is comfortable and quite swanky. But that's a special fabric for a fabric specialist. My local tailors can make a nice unlined jacket with proper sleeve lengths and working buttonholes, but they're limited to mainstream fabrics. The fabric manufacturers have to sell their wares to tailors, and Kiton has to sell their wares to consumers; much different business model.
