Yea, Apple's customer service is complete garbage. Always has been, probably always will be. I feel sorry for the people with the yellow computers. Should have bought them aluminum. It's way prettier.

Apple could avoid these discoloration issues if they just made all their products black. Think of the possibilities: Mac Blac! What I hear is that the design people keep proposing it, but Steve Jobs is such a f***ing racist...

Yep. One of my friends had problems with his Apple laptop discoloring five or six years ago after less than six months worth of use. Apple claimed then, as it does now, that this is not a defect. Evidently, they are SUPPOSED to get "character marks". It's what makes your laptop "unique". I believe that was what he was told almost word for word.

I mean, yeah, some wear and tear is normal, but the dudes computer looked like Vladamir Guererro's batting helmet. And this is a guy who washes his hands before drinking a latte, so its not like he's rubbing bacon grease into his laptop or anything.
