damnit-- the seller has checked his info, and found these are actually a size 10.5 US size-- which would fit me perfectly. unfortunately (or maybe fortunately for my wallet and credit cards), i can't possibly buy them at the moment. Any size 10.5s out there want to have a go at them? If so, best of luck-- i have pictures of theses in black from lobb manhattan, Staffords model. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws....66&rd=1

Messr. Foxx, they've got your name written all over them.... Lobbs are shoes for a lifetime. You'll pass them on to your son. Brown shoes are better for the southern Arizona climate.

    Need any more reasons?

I don't see width info, by the way.

I emailed the seller a few days ago and they are marked Stafford 9.5 EE7000. They measure 11 1/2 by 3 3/4, which seems rather narrow if they are EE.
I agree, though, those just might as well have "Foxx" written on the inside of them.
BTW: Those retail for $1,200 at the Lobb store on Madison Ave.

I believe that Foxx now works in a business casual environment.  (He had a fire sale of suits in the Buying and Selling forum a little while back.)  If he bought those Lobbs, he would either wear them rarely, or wear them sans suit and earn a place in the Manton Hall of Shame.

So, in other words AC, you have your sights set on them?

Of course not. Â My sole interest is Foxx's marital harmony. Â [IMG] (In all seriousness, I have absolutely no idea whether those shoes would fit me feet, and don't want to take the chance that they don't.)

I heard a rumor that a friend of mine named Russ was going to bid and win those, in defiance of all else... [IMG] [IMG]

Nice looking shoes, but too rich for my blood...

    Don't look like suede, either...

Foxx has joined all of us over the shoe edge...

you guys are hilarious.. if only i could afford these right now, but alas I am currently the keeper of two "heirloom" shoes by Lobb, and my marriage cannot withstand another shoe purchase for quite some time.....

I had a pair of those once, very unique upper design - never seen anything else like it.

    They should fit a US 10 1/2 - 11.
