These just arrived in the mail today. Heel pattern look familiar? BUT these are made in Italy! I'd guess that RL had their early cheaper "PL" shoes made "EG Style" in Italy. The model name does not turn up in any searches. These will be for sale soon on the FS forum.Size 10 B.

I was gonna let it slide, but the fake EG heel is the last straw! I'm mad as hell! I'm not gonna take any more of this!

That tag is not a Purple Label Tag, I know it looks the same but in the past I usually only saw that tag on the Women's line and it was like a level less than the Polo stuff.

I've seen some old high end men's stuff with this tag. The shoes are well constructed and at least to the level of current Italian RL shoes. I'd imagine they may well be from the same factory just with a different heel pattern.

I just posted the pic since I thought the "EG Lite" style was interesting.
