Is it possible for me to buy a pair of nice designer glasses, and walk into a lencrafters or something and have them put in prescription glasses for me, or am I constrained to use the frames only available at these places?
I always assumed chain stores like Lenscrafter and Hour Eyes carried high end brands? The question is WHAT frames are you buying? custom 24k? Haha.
b,
I have a terrible time finding an optician who can accept my insurance (VSP) but also has something better than the Luxottica cookie cutter frames. Do you guys have any tips for this?
How do i find out the lens quality? My plan is to just buy some frames that I like, take my prescription to a place that accepts my insurance, and see if they can do it.
