I updated the spreadsheet and took averages of all participants' measurements so far...

Our average jacket size is 43
Our average shirt size is 17" x 34.5"
Our average pants size is 36" x 30.75"
Our average shoe size is 10 3/4

How is my average neck size a 25?[IMG]

oops - good catch! I accidentally put your sleeve measurement as your second neck measurement! Not even sumo wrestlers have a 34 inch neck!

It's fixed, and the average neck measurement plummets from 17" to 16.5"...

I have some ties for trade! Will consider any and all trades -- and combinations with other stuff I have available for trade... doesn't have to be an "even" trade, either -- e.g., if you have a tie (or a shirt or whatever) that you think is worth two or three of these ties, just let me know!

Heads up for anyone in nyc. The housing works thrift store on 77th and 1st had a gieves & hawkes odd db jacket, black pinstripe for $6 (half off 12 today). Felt like a ~38, with 23 1/2 inch sleeves? I'm 6'2', so the sleeves were far too short for me. Nice roped shoulders.

Also - some sort of grey patterned Kilgour suit. Fairly large - maybe a 44 US? Was pricey though, 50 with the half off deal.

Hit one of my local shops, not much there. I did find a $6.00 Paul Smith tie that will probably end up on the thrift exchange as soon as I get pics.

    Here are the Pics:

I saw a Field Custom Tailor blue sportcoat with cool lining and working buttonholes, and a nice Raja's Fashions (Thailand) sportcoat... but I left both of them in the store because I'm very picky. But I did snap some pics with my cell phone... Field: Holland & Sherry brass buttons (interesting - only two buttonholes on both sleeves - both working) [IMG] [IMG] Raja: [IMG] [IMG] I did leave the store with some books and a Carrott & Gibbs bowtie which I've listed on B&S...

I saw your post for the bow tie in B&S. I was silently praying it would be green as I'm in urgent need of a green self-tie bow for a St. Patrick's Day "Green Tie" event. Should anyone come across one in the next few days, I have lots of quality ties to trade.

    Hey all,

I have some suits and jackets I'd love to turn into something I could wear.

    What I have to trade:
    A Canali suit, size 42R
    Paul Stuart 42S Tweed jacket
Giorgio Armani (made by Vestimenta) 38r blazer (although it looks like it might have been a suit jacket at one point)

I'll take pictures later today, as well as measurements for those interested

I wear (slim) 38s jackets, 30-32 waist, and a shoe size centered around 10.5. I'm particularly interested in Italian items, as I've had the best fit with them.

    Send me some offers!

I'll put these up for a week, if no hits I gotta toss em on the 'bay to get some cash. I'd like to trade for a suit on par with what I have, but in a 42R (ie: another Oxxford, Isaia, Brioni, Kiton....). 1) Oxxford gray chalkstripe suit. 44R. 2 btn front, single rear vent, partially lined. Super 110's. Pants 38R. [IMG] [IMG] 2) Recent Samuelsohn blue/brown stripe. 44R/38R pants. 2 btn front, single rear vent, fully lined. Super 110's. [IMG] [IMG]

    Here's the info:

The Canali is a dark blue/black (very hard for me to tell) lightly pinstriped with two buttons, unvented. The fabric feels fantastic. Nicer than any jacket I have for sure
    Shoulders: 20''
    Chest: 22.5''
From top to bottom (including collar): 32.5-33''

    Pants are single pleated
Waist: 18.5'', about 3.5'' to let out (that should be closer to 2 per side)
Length: 42'', uncuffed with 3'' to let out

Armani is black/dark grey with stronger pinstriping, two buttons, unvented.

    Shoulders: 18''
    Chest: 20''
From top to bottom (including collar): 32''

I took your advice! We'll see how it goes...
