What is everyone making for Thanksgiving?
It will just be my wife and our two boys this year, covid and all, as opposed to the usual 20+ person affair it usual is... part of me is actually looking forward to a scaled down version, although would be nice to see my parents.
1. Turkey breast roulade
2. Turkey legs braised in stock and white wine.
3. Plenty of sage gravy
4. Stuffing with apples, sausage, and sage
5. Haricot vert
6. Sweet potatos with crumb cake topping
7. Mashed potatoes
8. Homemade pumpkin pie
9. Plenty of Bourbon and wine
TWSS?
This sounds like the cooking version of the option strategy currently being touted in the investing thread.I had some pumpkin pie filling left that didn't fit in my pie plate (or the bonus ramekin I filled with the crust trimmings).
So today I made some graham cracker crust for a little 4x6 baking dish to use that up.
But after filling that dish, I had left over graham cracker crust mix.
So then I mixed up some apple pie filling to make a baby apple pie.

Now I have half an apple left, but at least that problem is solvable.
