i only buy unsalted butter. If i want salt on it for bread i sprinkle it with salt.

Yeah, that's why it is only for special occasions. Otherwise I only have unsalted on hand.

I do feel like when you spread softened butter, having the salt in the butter makes a difference vs sprinkling. Sure, I should mash it up before spreading, but that's not as easy as having a dish with salted butter on the table.

Is the 24 month the one with the black wrapper? If so, i stand corrected.

Edit: nevermind... i just checked and it is 3 year and I stand by it being very good. Crumbly with some crystals in it. Here is a pic:

So hard to pick just one cheese, but great question.

i love humboldt fog and rogue river blue. I always have a few wheels of vaccherin mont d’or around christmas.

With this list you simply have to find some Shropshire Blue and try it. Head and shoulders above both of those blues and they are good blues.

Favorite cheese? Jeez, that’s a tough one. For easy availability and that it comes in slices, I like Muenster. For a treat, I like aged havarti to go with salami. Also, I really like Brie.
