I think the Ceasar Salad is one of the most perfect foods ever. I guess this technically is not a Ceasar if there's no croutons but i think i am on board with breadcrumbs over croutons. best of all i have crumbs and dressing for tomorrow lunch.

i have been halving heads of romaine and grilling for my ceasar salads. I agree that they are great.

Thing with ceasar salads is too many places serve fake ceasar salads using generic ceasar dressing and croutons. Real ceasar salad is supposed to have anchovies.

I have more scotch bonnets than I know what to do with, so I made some pikliz. (A Haitian spicy relish)

We’ll see how it turned out in a few days.

I feel like I’ve been cooking 4-5 hours a day lately.

EDIT: Apparently I cut it a little too chunky (though the recipe said to quarter the peppers). Supposed to be more slaw-like. I should have just grated the carrots. I have like 15 more peppers so I'll be making some more.
