I'm watching this show Final Table on Netflix, which is your typical reality competition format, except everyone is a qualified professional chef, and there's no forced interpersonal drama bullshit. It's a little cheesy and I hate the host, but it's inspiring me to work on my plating. Need some new plates and bowls though.

Nah, plating is fun. Just don't put it on something stupid a piece of slate or driftwood or a dried cow pie.

This is my wife’s first soufflé. It looks better than the example picture in the recipe (Serious Eats) and equally as good as Chef John’s. All this a ****** busted un-level coil top electric range.
