Nice haul at the town farmer’s market this morning.

Making gnocchi with corn and quanciale for dinner along with a simple vinegary side salad.

Strawberry shortcake for dessert.

Picked some rosemary from our herb garden for the focaccia. Fresh summer salad with the left over wagyu NY Strips sliced cold and tossed in. So good, so not Edina.

I have stayed away from the rabbit hole of yeasted bread making but this focaccia is really pulling me in.

Piob - Not a critique, just an honest question... how is the wagyu cold?

I often find the better the marbling, the more important it is to get the fat warmed. for example, i dont really eat filet, but if i did i would eat it rare. Strip is my favorite but I prefer it medium rare. Prime rib/ribeye, closer to medium if I am being honest.

I'm telling you, just follow this to the letter, and perfect every time. I don't like cherry tomatoes so I ignore that part. Whatever you want as the toppings.
