Just saw IW:Endgame. What an awesome movie. About as perfect as can be expected and great fun. that it was nonsensical and the plot line was gibberish just added to the great comic book feel. It hit all the right notes.
I was amazed also at how many plot turns I didn’t have spoiled even after all this time.

Final trailer for season 3 of Stranger Things. Can’t believe we are only a month away.

Saw Dark Phoenix only cost a dollar. Should have asked for my money back...sad, very sad.
Worth thinking about: What was the worst CBM treatment of a franchise or story line?
The one I resent most is Avatar: The Last Airbender because it not only sucked but also was probably the only chance it had of being turned into a film. Other contenders, like FF, Daredevil, Green Lantern and now Dark Phoenix are less likely to result in a permanent mothballing.

The Daredevil movie was atrocious, and Fantastic Four was pretty awful, too. Going back a ways, every 90s Batman film also sucked ass.

The Daredevil movie was atrocious,
I think the worst part for me was that I remember reading the Daredevil comics back in the 80s and for some reason (maybe it was just that it took forever for storylines to run their course) it seemed to me like DD and Elektra had a long, long backstory and run together. In the DD movie it seemed like Elektra's only real job was to show up and after a while get killed by Bullseye so Matt could be sad.

As machines for making money Marvel has it down pat. The problem with the current X-men franchise is that it lacked coherence in terms of story arc and development of the characters. Out of the last four Days of Future past was the only decent one and it wasn’t part of the current First Class run.

I rather enjoyed Final Fantasy as a movie, but I admit I was never into the game.

The Ghost Rider movies were pretty atrocious. The ‘80s Captain America was absolute garbage.

Haha....Dolph Lundgren Punisher or Thomas Jane Punisher? I actually read that Punisher War Zone wasn’t bad, but watching some of it, it didn’t feel very Punisher-esque.
