I will never, ever, understand why this happens so often in book adaptations.
It's like going to see a performance of Romeo and Juliet only to find that in the end the star-crossed lovers pwn the haters and ride off into the sunset happy and well. I don't get why writers think that surprising viewers with new plot twists is something anyone wants to see.

We watched the first three episodes of Peacekeeper yesterday. It was entertaining and funny in a Deadpool way.

Finished Hawkeye, liked it more and more as the series went on (started painfully slow)

Reviews for that one have been pretty good. I've been meaning to check it out.

Peacemaker is just the right kind of stupid. It's self-aware without being try-hard. Enjoying it so far.

Also John Cena is a pretty solid action lead, real 1980s action movie vibes there.

Agree about John Cena. I remember when he first started acting that my impression was that he'd be like a low-rent Rock, but he's actually a pretty decent actor, especially for comedy.

Helps that he's willing to let himself look like an asshole and/or get the crap kicked out of him.
