Laaammeee. Just put it in the same universe.
Fans complain too much about canon not adding up. If it’s a 60’s period piece it wouldn’t work in the main universe.

Whatever. Don’t make it a 60s piece then. All the hero’s should be in the same universe. X men, FF, whomever they add in the future. You don’t need to explain everything or relate it all back to infinity warFans complain too much about canon not adding up. If it’s a 60’s period piece it wouldn’t work in the main universe.
Why not? Just have it as historical (you can always add in a mind wipe or some **** at the end)Fans complain too much about canon not adding up. If it’s a 60’s period piece it wouldn’t work in the main universe.
Clint Eastwood is in his 90s. It's amazing these guys still have the mental and physical stamina to direct million-dollar films.I think Ridley Scott is pushing 90.
You could just stop after "Fans complain too much".Fans complain too much about canon not adding up. If it’s a 60’s period piece it wouldn’t work in the main universe.
I think there's definitely room for a return of free-standing superhero movies. The Batman movies with Robert Pattinson don't tie in with any of the DCU and they have been very well received. Why not the same for F4?I’ve been critical of all the shoehorning of multiverse stuff. This doesn’t feel the same as what we have seen up to now. Forced cameos to generate audience cheers like in No Way Home or Deadpool 3.
I see this as a logical way to introduce the FF as an established team with history without disrupting the current MCU continuity. Saying this as someone who always points out that continuity isn’t nearly as important as fans claim it is.
Plus I like the unique look and feel they are going for.

Speaking of Robert Pattinson: I just became aware of this movie, releasing in March:
TeneT was amazing! That actually looks... good?
Usually, I think his movies don't.
I loved his take on Christopher Hitchens in Tenet.TeneT was amazing!
Yeah, I'm just being "that guy."
The money machine will take over and cameos and team ups will be demanded. As mentioned above it’s likely already planned out for years.
