Damn, those were good books.

People lost their minds over the fact that all pronouns were feminine. Coincided with that whole idiotic Sad Puppies movement. Fun times.
Just happened to read this on Wikipedia about the book being optioned for TV:

The novel was optioned for television in October 2014 by the production company Fabrik and Fox Television Studios. Leckie wrote that the producers responded positively to her concerns about how the ungendered, dark-skinned Radchaai characters could be presented in a visual medium.[19] She later wrote that the option had been exercised, but that the project had collapsed in 2024.[20]

So that's a bummer.

I'm convinced that almost every single film with exposition dumps would be much better if they dumped them. I don't care what information they think we need, we don’t. When a scientists in a f-cking spaceship is explaining to the pilot of that ship how wormhole work, it's like how does the mf-ing pilot know know? They are literally flying to the wormhole.

I really hope it’s not a multi verse thing

It's set in an alternate universe but it doesn't sound like it will feature a bunch of random multiverse cameos.

I do expect the story to send them to the main MCU at the end.

You can tell he's a little old man by looking at his shoulders, though. He is a lot smaller than he used to be in his Indiana Jones days.

EDIT: also, do we really think Harrison Ford is a Karaoke Lover, like his shirt claims? I doubt it.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
