This might be the most realistic on screen depiction of Clark vs Superman in live action. I’ve never had an issue with the concept that people don’t recognize him with glasses on, but they nailed it here.

New beetlejuice. It’s fine. Worth watching but takes way too long to get started. The first 30 drags. After that it’s fun. Not sure I'd recommend paying full ticket price. The original is much better.

Watch it once it hits streaming.

Can we be honest? This looks like the sane dude with his hair in a part. For all of Snynder pretending he cared about "realism" he didn't get the small details right.

We have a film that's not trying to be "realistic," but is nailing by these details. I approve.

Was talking to someone at a biz dinner the other day and we established we were both sci fi nerds and then did the what's your favorite genre book thing. I said "Snow Crash" and he literally spit out his drink and launched into how he'd been trying to get that produced for like a decade. The next day I got a FedEx of a script by Michael Bacall, who did "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" with Edgar Wright.

It's ... fairly obvious from the start that it's too good for the mainstream.

Seems like the last decade or two has provided several examples of "unfilmable" books being successfully put on screen, (Watchmen, Dune, LOTR) but I really don't see how Snow Crash could work, even as a TV series. I'd be interested in seeing it, though.
