Love this art.

Mavel Comics has always been Spider-Man, Fantastic Four and X-Men to me

- No Spoliers -

All caught up on Season 4 of The Boys. Enjoying most of it but they are dragging this show out longer than needed. It’s pretty clear they will have to either kill Homelander or somehow remove his powers. That might be the overall ending next season, with all the Supes turned normal? Just a guess…

The subplots with Frenchie and Kimiko are doing nothing to advance the main plot. Still, lots of shocks and surprises.

The story they are crafting is well worth all the seasons to me. :)

I’d love for them to get more creative than just killing Homelander off in a final fight.

Homelander’s arc is very well done.

Regarding Frenchie
Wad he gay/bi in the comics?

It just seemed to come out of nowhere and was kind of annoying

because I was shipping him and Kimiko
Yeah, big non-sequitur. Their sub plots aren’t very interesting to me either way. Not a big issue but not moving the main story much.

The show already established the awkwardness of them as a couple. They kissed and it didn’t go well.

I’ve realized the reason I prefer early HOTD over GoT is how intimate the story feels. It’s not nearly as expansive but that’s to the shows advantage.

Maybe that will change in time. I like what they have done so far.

The season final of Doc Who was fantastic. Loved every minute of it. RTD was never as good a writer as Moffat but he nailed the final. Can’t wait for the next season.

I'm complete opposite...
I'm enjoying HoD, but GoT was an absolute game changer show for me.
I didn't know the books or the story so I went in blind.
I still remember the first episode with the awesome overhead shot of them going North of the wall and encountering the wight. And then Ned lopping off the survivor's head. I was hooked.
HoD is a companion piece.
