Is WandaVision as good — or pretty true — to Tom King’s comic?

Because that would be amazing.

I'm enjoying Wandavision. The reality-altering stuff is interesting, but I find myself caring less about the overall "mystery" and how it is going to tie into the overall MCU.

It's a good show but really is being held up by the fact it's in the MCU. Would anyone care about this show if it had nothing to do with Marvel and had unique characters? I'm not really sure the concept is strong enough on its own.

i’m interested to see if they tie in the X-Men somehow... wasn’t sword featured primarily in the x-men comics?

Spoiler tags bro.

It's too easy to figure out who the cameo is if you reference the XMen.

SWORD was a large factor in Joss Whedon's Astonishing XMen run

That‘s exactly what made the comic great. Similar to Swamp Thing, they handed an unprofitable character to a great writer with a real point of view and gave them free reign.

Haven’t seen the show, but was hoping it was similar in that regard.

Jesus. That’s very unfortunate.

It’s so depressing to hear all that, given how great that show was, and the absolute hagiography of all those DVD commentaries that hailed him as some kind of visionary feminist.

It was rumored for years that something happened between Charisma and Joss. It was believed there was bad blood between them due to her getting pregnant during season 4 of Angel, but no one ever knew the details.

This sounds far worse then was ever rumored. It’s disheartening and unfortunate that those affected kept it all bottled up inside for so long.

Buffy has made countless lists for being on of the greatest and most influential TV shows of all time. Angel and Firefly were amazing in their own rights. That won’t change, but it’s sad to see this all come to light.
