Brosnan was in fact a bit bigger and taller than bond in the books. I don't get Brosnan hate he was overall good Bond, his last movie sucked real bad, but that was not his fault.

Because Portman plays Jane Foster who became “Thor” in the comics for a run that lasted a while and was well liked. They are taking the story straight out of established comic lore. I’m cool with it.

I know the comic book plot but since when does the MCU answer to that? Valkyrie was a great character and the actor just killed it. Total badass.

Timothy Dalton would have made a terrible Thor.

I think he could have pulled off Red Skull though. If you remember him as the Nazy spi in The Rocketeer you’ll see what I mean.

PB any a fight sequence or Daniel Craig trying to be a charming ladies man. Both really required me to suspend disbelief to enjoy the movie.

James Bond never supposed to be built like that - and never was prior to DC. Anyway besides weight looking ripped doesn't mean you can fight. If you take a look at even prominent fighters in for example UFC/MMA many of them look more like Pierce Brosnan or out of shape Roger Moore rather than like DC.

I don’t really follow UFC that much and tend to follow boxing more. Boxers tend to be in really good shape to win with a few exceptions.

well I don't really follow it I watched occasionally but this is not that uncommon to see guys looking like that;
and these are not some scrubs, these are guys who murder other fighters. Craig looked much better than any
of them while obviously he can't fight(at least compared to pro-fighter).
