heh, you like that fake 1978 Avengers trailer, @Harold falcon?
I do, I el oh el'd.
Nazis. Dinosaurs. Nazi dinosaurs.
Here, take my money. Take it. TAKE IT!!!
I think Supergirl looks a lot of fun. I'm glad they went with a more lighthearted approach as it fits the character well.
I'm glad it doesn't share the same universe as the films. Not all these properties need to be connected directly. Daredevil was an excellent show but I hated the references to the MCU. Nothing about that show looked like it belonged in the same world as the Avengers.
Ugh. I'm honestly sick of highschool/early college Spider-Man on film. It's been done. They should move on and start exploring more of his adult life on film.
Besides it makes little to no sense for the Avengers to let a 15 year old join the team.
They probably will lock this kid down for the next 15 years of his life too
At least it isn't a reboot. Plus I only have faith in it because it is being handled by Marvel though I never really disliked any SM films outside of Raimis third film.
And don't sleep on MadMax, 99% on RT and all of them are justified.
Just a few reviews snippets:
Isn't it technically a reboot since they are starting over? They may not make it an origin story, but the character is being rebooted for film.
Yah I meant not another origin story but I guess you can call it a soft reboot instead because other than age they really are just going with an already existing entity?
Also as for a young one being recruited by the Avengers, in the recent cartoons he has been working with Fury and formed his own group and I haven't read any recent books lately but I think it is also true there? In the books Spidey pretty much just join everyone anyways like Wolverine.
And to be fair, I don't think he is going to be recruited by the Avengers, he has a role in Civil War and might appear in Infinity Wars (that's really just going to be every hero going against Thanos) and the rest are still just his solo films so his age shouldn't be that much of a factor in terms of him being too young to join the group.
I have zero interest in seeing a teenage Butterfield Spiderman joining forces with the Avengers.
If the rumors are true that his solo film will be subtitled "The New Avenger" I'd expect for him to be joining the team.
Crossbones looks pretty cool.
