I'd just hire Tom Welling to show in a few episodes as Clark and maybe even suits up for an episode or two?

I'm into season 3 now of Arrow. I really hope they don't try to make his sister a super hero too. FFS they make it as if it's just so easy to suddenly become some deadly skilled assassin. First Nate now this crap.

Looks like Asa Butterfield (Enders Game & Hugo) is the new Spidey.

Which is about the age they are looking for, they are going super young with this new Spidey.

How many more terrible movies can Spider-Man survive before people lose interest in the franchise? I didn't even see the last two in the theater.

Yup. I stopped watching season 3 for that very reason. My hate for Laurel only made the desire even stronger.

I hope they finally nail it. Spiderman 2 still remains as the best Spidey movie and one of the best superhero movies to me. It was awesome. Spiderman 1 was more than ok, a good first effort. Spiderman 3 had some cool moments but ruined by emo peter and an overload of villains. Then we got another go, all over again and I enjoyed ASM, though it seriously lacked action and the score was horrendous. I thought they would´ve learnt from S3 but no, multiple villains again for ASM 2, which is the worst of them all. Electro was lame as fuck and GG only got like a couple of minutes on screen fighting against spidey inside the clock tower...
I hope whoever directs the first entry into the new Spiderman movie at least spares us from another Uncle ben death scene. We know who spidey is, we know who peter is. Start him as a teenager, I don´t care, but show him in the suit from the start.

Yo, fuck everything else right now and go see Mad Max.

If there is one movie you're going to see this summer, hell this year, this is it.
