As Styleforum enters its second decade, it seems only fitting that we come together and reflect on what photographic background The Membership likes to see in the typical self-portrayal.

Here we go:

I have to say that I laugh whenever I see someone in front of a huge lawn/pool/whatever that is clearly their parents, but representing it as their own. It entertains me because these fit pics are normally accompanied by questions relevant to the dress code at their "office" or "firm."

Well, those are things one does with the backdrop, not the backdrop itself. The former is too open-ended a question for a poll on the Huddler platform.

Is sneezed on mirror part of the backdrop? Or is that just considered a photographic effect?

Poll choices should be combined to accommodate the talents of SF stalwarts. Thus:

Unmade Bed (In A) Urinal

Walking Toward the Camera, Emerging from a Solid Wall or Closed Door (In A) Classroom

Dirty Cab (Driving Erratically But Rapidly Around An) Old Stone Tower of Some Sort

In all modesty, the best background for my photograph
will be in front of the soon to be unveiled statue of myself
at the junction of Savile Row and Vigo Street.
