People are cool with the physics of the death star and telekinesis, but need realism with the political and military outcomes. What a world.

I saw the one that pissed off all the incels. It was good. I mean, for a Star Wars flick, it was good. Or okay. Not great, but not any worse then the rest of them. It was whatever.

I mean is it just me or are the Star Wars video games head and shoulders above the actual films?

edit: For the record I had no problem with the Asian chick either.

as ive said before here: if you're not ok with an arthritic toad who can lift a multi-ton plane out of quicksand by raising his hand and thinking really hard and is also one of the most powerful warriors in a galaxy then your concerns are......

This again?
Is it really so hard to distinguish the suspension of disbelief necessary to accept the premises of any speculative fiction from judgments about whether the presence or absence of things like internal logical consistency or relatable character motivations add up to compelling story telling?

I think the complaint that one aspect isn't "real" while ignoring the other aspects that are equally unreal is absurd. I have no problem with people complaining about **** characters and bad character dramatization.

When did this become a thing? I just heard about it on late last week and now I see it on SF and facebook.

Been around for a little while, but really blowing up with the youths right now.

Personally, I think it is pretty funny when used well...but well on track for being massively overused to the point of meaninglessness.

I nice reflection back on a demeaning "ok kiddo," perfect for someone who is not quite old enough for an "ok grandpa." Burgeoned by a few boomers getting their panties in a fit over it.

Samsung TVs 2016 and on support the Disney+ app and Apple Air Play 2 for casting. Mine is, of course, a 2015.

Will have to use laptop to TV over HDMI I guess. Kind of want to see the Mandalorian even if Ep IX isn’t really interesting me.
