A laser sword would be so dangerous to use that no one would be spinning then around and doing any type of fancy swordplay. I know “The Force” is the correct answer, but lightsabers are not very practical weapons.

It would not matter, those fencers who I know are don’t get hit by their own blades. Having done little fencing I barely even recall hitting myself.. I guess that it is not something that skilled person would ever consider a big problem

I fenced for a long time and just mechanically, you don't hit yourself with the blade often if ever. Imagine boxing and accidentally hitting yourself, it just doesn't happen. The blade is an extension of your arm, and it's not too hard to have a sense of where it's going.

The super flashy saber combat they added in the prequels would be absurdly dangerous, but anything analogous to Earth swordplay would have pretty minimal risk of hitting yourself. Even for a weightless blade, I can't see it being too much of an issue.

I just want to know how the dangerous beam of light doesn’t continue, indefinitely, into space.

You mean KK called brought in Feige to work on a new Star Wars project? Cool. Hopefully he realizes that the MCU has its own voice and Star Wars shouldn’t feel like it. He’s a smart guy so I’m not all that worried.

Also Midnight Edge? Seriously? They might be the worst of the incel fueled clickbait channels on YouTube. Their takes on entertainment news are almost always god awful.
