ROTJ DLC is the perfect description.

How old is your son? From my experience, most young kids loved Mando because of baby Yoda. BOBF won't have that hook and I could see younger children not enjoying it as much.

A bit older than that, my friend. He's 12 and a precocious 12. The other things we are watching right now are the last series of The Expanse, and Umbrella Academy. His favourite film is Knives Out.

I suspect he doesn't like it much because it's not that good...

Sorry, you both aren't enjoying the show.

Boba Fett is not hitting me the way The Mandalorian did. It's...fine, but nothing has really excited me about it.

Also, for someone with such an iconic look (literally the only reason anyone cared about Fett originally), they sure do like having him take his helmet off every five seconds.

Episode 2 was largely a kind of cut-price Dune - emphasizing how much George Lucas stole off Frank Herbert originally. However it is nice to see them giving some actual culture and life to the Tusken Raiders.

Ep 3.

That low speed car chase was just...bad. Bad CGI, and just no sense of tension at all. And almost three minutes long for some reason?

I think I've honed in on why I think the show is, meh...
The actor that plays him is really boring and stiff.
I've also kind of had an assfull of Ming Wen.
She's been overly saturated in supporting action roles.
Yeah, I really want it to be good, but its just not. The actor can't carry the roll. I feel like there is so much they could do with the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy with a penchant for disintegration. In stead, he is playing captain save a hoe to a bunch of plucky space mods.

He only really works as an anti-hero. Give him a code, fine, but this feels like a full retcon.

The funniest thing about that tweet is how rather too many people commenting don't realise that it's satire.

Man, watched Ep 2-3 of BOBF last night and turned it off halfway through 3. Pretty dull overall. Like Space Gunsmoke or some other 70s rancher procedural.

If Obi Wan isn’t any good I think I’m giving up on Star Wars in general.
