That's how fandom works. Look at any popular sport.

Take-away being that cops are such habitual liars that they've lost all perspective on what is or isn't a credible lie?

If you look closely you can see that the Queen's ship also has two gun ports on the bottom side, too. Missile launchers maybe?

Maybe it is kind of like how base model cars still have cutouts for fog lights, but they just put a plastic grill in there to fill the space if you don't buy that option.

Film has already passed $100 million in advance ticket sales. Previous record holder was The Dark Knight at $25 million. These numbers are insane.

Posts about race and cops, you see I reply, and it's about Natalie Portman's stupid chrome space ship. It'd be nice to get a little pat on the back to make sure the joke's not going over everybody's head. Ah well.

I was thinking about the movie and why everyone expects it to be good. After all, J.J. Abrams made it. And he's made such classics as... uh.... looking at his filmography, has he ever been involved in a good movie? I can't see one. It's too bad you can't trust reviewers these days, so I'll have to wait until the weekend to explain why the movie sucked.

Besides police officers and arguing on the internet, is there anything you do like?

It's possible I did miss the joke ...
I'm not sure which movies he directed. At least one Star Trek flick I guess. Was it the one where they're all young?

Super 8 wasn't bad at all. Not great, but not bad.

Super 8 is a lot of fun. It feels like a call back to the 80's when we got films of kids going off on adventures. I rather liked it. Star Trek (2009) is excellent and J.J. directed the best of the Mission Impossible films.
