Can you imagine a Michael Bay Star Wars movie about a young Han Solo played by Shia LeBouf?
He was already Harrison Ford´s son. That would just be the expected next step for him. But yeah, Michael Bay doing "Star Wars" would be crazy... just imagine all the explosions you could see in space!!!!!!
Paging Rambo; please comment.
I'm not sure what you are saying about Vader/Luke's father.
We know that parsecs are not a unit of time (see the posts a few pages back where I explained the reasoning for this comment according to the expanded universe and it being about navigating around the black holes in the maw). What I am pointing out is that in the script, it appears that Old Ben knew that Han was talking out his ass.
I'm all for expanded universe stuff...but this is one of those things where now that I know this was in the script, I am just going to have to say that the books that discuss the kessel run in terms of distance are breaking canon.
Canon got fucked to turn the Force into a STD with the prequels. Who knows what they will do with these sequels or spin-off films.
maybe they should do a "jedi academy" type of movie series, where han and leia's slacker kid, mahoney solo, enters the academy which is ran by a dumb administrator- colonel las sard and his brown nosing officer. and amidst the hi-jinx our new protagonist gets into with his friends mace hightower, cal l-han, tak'l berry and lar vell jons, they had to save the city of coruscant from criminal groups.
mahoney? is he going to grow up to be a beat cop?
Reports circulating that Harrison Ford is in like Flynn.
Will he act better than his role in the last Indiana Jones film? Or will he phone it in?
TBH, it wasn't Ford that made the last Indy movie weak.
Correct, it wasn't just him. But he clearly looked like he didn't give two-shits to be in it. He gave better performances in "Morning Glory" and "Cowboys and Aliens" by comparison.
The guy's been on auto-pilot since the mid 90s.
His last decent film was Air Force One.
