Quote:
wow. "sorel" boots at 30 off.

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic. Sorel-like boots are sort of a necessity if you live in very snowy areas.

Except that 10 year old MIC(anada) Caribou lasts 10 more years while the new MIC(hina) Caribou dies out in a few years.. Its better to look for Kaufman Made in Canada models and replacing the liner.. but then even the new liners are ****** compared to old version :brick:

sorry, reserved for kitakira

Is kit the guy that comes in once a month and makes massive multiquote posts that go back weeks?

I don't think I know anything else about him or his taste though..

gotcha, I remember those. I didn't read them either :(

I meant to imply my opinion is always right though and should be regarded as fact :foo:

How are Yuks wearable in snowy regions??????????? They use soles that either they or Vibram tells the customers not to wear on slippery/ icy surface? I guess Quoddy has better soles but then I find Moc construction ugly so..

I wouldn't buy Sorel's to wear as a general winter boot. but they're great to have around when temps go down to -20c or even lower, or when you need to shovel a shitload of snow, or similar situations. I really don't give a **** how I look when I'm wading through half a meter of snow or freezing my feet off.

yuketens are some of the best wet weather shoes around. they use the camp sole (boat sole) on many shoes and then of course the christy sole is excellent in snow and weather that is over the top.

another shoe to look at is russell moc.

quoddy stitches on their vibram sole. they are nice but can let water thru the stitching if you are in deep snow.
