1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

SF Barneys had a decent amount of Moncler.

No clue how much was left after the sale though.

I actually asked them about the sale, and apparently it's only for people who have spent $500+ on their site. They're trying out some sort of new loyalty/rewards system.

You can actually Google it and access the sale that way.

PSA for people in Toronto. Eaton Centre downtown has 40 percent off their designer stuff. Some spur shirts that are 119 before their 40 percent off. Had a nice one small collar dress shirt, but I'm between sizes. Random piece of BoO (in small / large), crap loud of Steven Alan.

^ what was all the hype a few years back over Steven Alan pieces? I read somewhere that they were comparable in terms of fit and quality to BoO.. or were they crappy back then and still?

SA sucks. A more expensive J. Crew. They occasionally have cool looking fabrics, but they end up feeling so shitty it's not even worth it.

Any idea if the web store will be updated to reflect this?

I dunno. Lol I'm guilty of buying two of their shirts. They had this decent SA wool navajo looking shirt there that I was eyeing. But somebody snatched up the SMALL. There was also some Klaxon howl work wear shirts. A thick canvas KH blazer that was 340 before the 40 percent off. Wish the cut wasn't so boxy would have consider it.

Steven Alan is now mostly made in China. A wide variety of bros at work have jumped on the brand maybe inspired by NYC Gilt / GQ / #menswear hysteria. So yeah, like Rag & Bone... it's now a go to brand for late 20something/early 30something bros with a few extra bucks in their wallet.

Haha, I was guilty of being one of those bros 2-3 years ago. I would buy anything just because Gilt was having a sale. I remember buying a bunch of Arnold Zimberg or something and thinking "what the hell am I doing? This stuff sucks." Even then I could tell SA was pretty bad.

inevitably and unfortunately so many brands do this... in order to grow and meet demand they outsource, move their shit to China and next thing you know they're the featured brand at Target!

Mostly this. Not a fan of the shirts, the ones I've tried on fit worse than jcrew, their other stuff can be better- the pants I have from last season were made in the USA and are pretty nice.
