Because in the past, people have ordered during sales only to have their orders cancelled later... and then see the same item at the next sale a couple months later for a higher price.

that's true, but they have trouble locating it in their wearhouse.
i have bought a pair of nudie straight svens for 31x32
and its true i saw that happend to a 30x34 slim jim =/ that i was suppose to get a 70 percent off.
and they stop responding to emails, but they are in general not bad.
also they left a 71 dollar charge after i canceled the order, and called them several times. so i did a chargeback
but i got the straight svens for 88 dollars not too bad?

Agree, although my last experience with BlueBee was actually really good - I ordered 6 things, received 5, at I think 70% off.
