I have currently have two cruisers sitting in my closet, they fit quite snug up top, a little boxy on the bottom.

you mean they flare out a bit at the bottom? is it because of the adjustable waist?

I'm really torn between this (but measurements for a small seem not that slim...in spite of TBS claiming it to be so) and a Barbour x Tokihito piece.

It was actually very decent if you wear a medium. Pretty much everything was 48 or M, the selection was very good as well, unfortunately, if you are anything other than 48, you're out of luck. Tbh, this has been the trend of this sample sale for ages, so it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.
