1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    Why did I receive a Corner-email about half-off an hour ago? It's not the EU-site, and I'm pretty sure US has been discounted for a while? [IMG]

    It can be pretty good, and most likely because they don't focus that much on their web presence, so it doesn't get pillaged in minutes. They might honor sale with phone orders, but by the time they updated their website prices it might be too late. It'd be pretty hard to tell what is actually on sale through the site. Can't remember exactly when it was last winter, but it is definitely an end-of-season thing at AmRag.

    Storewide as in "in the back of our warehouse on the tables". Most definitely not everything they have.

    In the past it was $40 for optic frames, and $60 for sunglasses.

    Nah, I meant like $60 total lol. As in shipped to my door and proxy paid. Really reasonable. Oh, and yeah, my guy told me that he couldn't get a lot of the stuff people requested, so choose your frames carefully. I lucked out, but I gave him a couple options when I asked him.

    Apparently, "Cardigans" and "Knitwear" are two distinct categories if you click on the departments tab

    how many frames did you buy to justify a 60 dollar proxy fee? if i'm buying one or two frames, 60 dollars is a ridiculously high proxy fee. shipping can be done using a flat rate medium box, and that's going to cost the proxy like 12 bucks if he adds delivery confirmation.

    No dude .... like 60 with the price of the frames ... like for everything. The frames are around $40-50 iirc. Then the proxy was maybe $5 and shipping was $5. I only got one pair of frames that I'm wearing at this moment. Goddamn, sorry if this shit is unclear, hahaha, got up at 6 this morning biked to campus and took a final. Got a couple more in the next 24 hours.

    Oh ahhh my bad I see what you mean. JChance quoted me 60 dollars as his proxy fee + shipping on top of the cost of the frames, so I thought you were talking about him when you mentioned the proxy.

    not a problem either... i'm quite hungover myself <_<;

    That's a great deal! If they'd had a 44" I'd have been tempted even though I know Santa Claus has an Inverallan sweater with my name on it...
