1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Email them and ask. You should probably check if they deduct Canadian VAT too.

Further drops on Mr P USA. Still got sniped on a couple of things even though it hasn't been announced on the front page!

The crazy Mr Porter sale time of the year has come, it's going fast. I could grab a APC alpaca sweater and a pair of Yuketen boots but I missed another item

Just remember, if you change your country from the US to UK you'll find lots of different stock. If it's pricy enough (comparatively) you can always chat with an SA and they may comp the roughly $50 shipping to the US (which happened to me).

Got 3 things on my Mr Porter list - Lemaire wool navy sweater, Jil wool navy sweater and J Crew cashmere navy sweater (been wanting a basic navy sweater, duh). Will keep the best and return the rest.

Your credit card company does this automatically for you. Nomad wants to collect all money in CAD. You want to pay in USD. Your CC company charges you in USD and pays Nomad in CAD, including a fairly nice spread for themselves.

Lol, you're buying it in Canadian dollars, so it's whatever exchange rate your payment method offers.

It's worth mentioning again that anyone who cops international orders regularly should look into a CC with no foreign transaction fee, like Cap 1.
