1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Don't know why people go so gaga for SNS. You can get waaay nicer knits for less, like these Drumohr's on Yoox:

Are you just going by composition? Yeah, sns knits are "just" wool and aren't ultra soft and shit but they hold up rediculously well (IME)- I've been wearing my olde green stark heavily for 3.5+ years and it still looks near new.

@kentpope Thanks for the post. Haberdasher just cancelled my blue static mix, so this came in perfect timing. Got the Navy.

Just my opinion but I really like the weave & steel buttons on the stark. Gives it a little oomph.

Love the Navy Stark... got it five or so days ago and have worn it what feels like every day down to 32 degrees with just a collar shirt on and I am warm...
It is awesome. The hard part for me is needing more than one as right now i think (1) is plenty.
They are also way better than Howlin'

stark is my go to knit, probably the least nicest that i have but most durable

if you have the body type for it then it is pretty flattering

thankfully it is long and thick

helps i got it for free too

    Y'all are trippin'.

The Yoox pic doesn't do them justice. Here's a fit pic of the first sweater. Again, waaay nicer in every respect.

That is true yoox pics are pretty shit most of the time, thanks for the post. Can you advise on sizing when compared to SNS. I wouldn't mind trying a new brand

UPDATE: I’d like to thank all of the gents on the board who offered to help, I ended up backing out of the purchase due to the store mgr being a douchebag… Either way it was nice to see the overall willingness to help from everybody, camaraderie at its finest here on SF.

    I'm a solid US M, a "regular" 48IT or a "slim" 50IT. In Drumohr I'm a size 50.

Ignore the "Large Sized" tag on the Yoox page. Drumohr used to size in UK measurements (the brand is originally Scottish) and Yoox read them as Italian sizes. They are all size IT now.

I'm also tempted to try this one from Magliario, but I don't know anything about the brand.
