1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

The use of white models is the Japanese's idea of making their brands look more serious, and international/western in the business. Sorta like how people there use to think "Made in France" was the epitome of garment production.

I've been to basically every Gant sale for the last 3 years and they've been going downhill since my first one

Last one I went to blazers were still like $200 and pants/shirts were more expensive then when on sale at Gant.com... not exactly Sample Sale prices.

IMO most sample sales that happen in those perpetual closeout sale buildings (260 5th ave and 255 5th ave) are over crowded and lacking deals worth traveling for. YMMV

The line is fucking brutal! Had I known, I never would have gone. Now that I have wasted my day, I am sticking it out. Currently about 25 people from the door.

Just wait until you get to the line to pay. One person to check everyone out. Took me and MBaum about an hour.

Lots of good stuff though and 70% off everything.

I don't know if it is what you are talking about, but did you try on the Engineered Garments x Faribault Wollen Mills CPO? I was excited to find it, but wearing it feels like you are being hugged by Satan. Not worth it IMO

All in all, pretty good sale, but a shitty wait

Hats off for sticking it out and better this weekend than last with that awful weather.

I don't think a 100% discount would make it worth two hours+ for me these days.
