1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I own 6 pairs and have never paid retail. eBay is a good place if you are patient. I got Training Boot in olive ($275) and Tournament Hi Canvas in black ($160) from SSENSE. Derby in black ($280) and Achilles Mid in black ($230) from Tres Bien. BBall Hi in white ($150) and Desert Chukka in camel ($80) from eBay.

Funny though, after having a few pairs for almost 6 years, they are still going strong, CP are almost actually worth retail to me.

Wrongweather used to be a really good place, I got 3 pairs from there at 50% off and more. And then 2X Ebay, and 1x Yoox and Ssense.

This argument won't end until someone finds white cp lows in 42/43 for $200.

I have negative six pairs of cp's. They were cheap but they look like stan smiths.

You can get white GATs and stuff for $300, don't understand the appeal of CP besides the minimalism, especially the non-sneaker/coloured models.

Back in 2009 there was a full size run of white Achilles on sale on the Barneys site marked down to $160. Bought two pairs and couldn't sell one of them for $175 w/ haggling. They've come a long way since.

I remember getting my white achillies lows for $150, maybe like 4-5 years ago? Still wearing them.

TBS stock is showing correctly now if anyone didn't think to check again. Picked up the officer boots, not missing them again this year

I've also had a lot of luck finding deals on CPs, like two different pairs of white bballs for $120 each.

Officer boots are not worth the money, even with a good discount. The sole is like styrofoam lol comfortable but won't last long.

They seem to have tripled in price with no rise in quality. Pass.

NYCers, Scoop sale on 28th and 5th has a lot of inventory at 80% off retail.

Worth checking out if you're in the area. OB swim trunks for $48, lots of Michael Bastian sweaters and polos, some Edios blazers and outwear.
