1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Not to bristle but $79 isn't bad for what Kamakura offers. Brooks Brothers closest equivalent are their US made supima shirts, which retail at 95, and are 75 when you buy three. Even Ralph Lauren's standard oxfords are $85 retail. Most men's contemporary shirts in the same style like Gitman Vintage are at least double the price.

I'd say Kamakura's are on average better than Brooks Brothers cotton shirts on average, and I vastly prefer them to Brooks non-iron offerings.

CM is Classic Menswear, there's a big thread on Kamakura in that forum.

Like BB most Kamakura shirts are cut to be tucked in, so take that into account if you're looking for casual shirts.

Does End have a sale today? The Cyber Monday compilation says it does, but I don't see it on their site....

Thanks dude, was me. Hoping for charcoal or dark grey, the color options aren't bad if a little 'off' but can't complain at this price point. Might as well pick one or two up for pure utility if nothing else.

That sale ended yesterday, I think. They have discounted items on their site, but the 20% off storewide sale is done. Even on the .com side.

Was looking around in IF SoHo today, and they had the MMM 5-zip 48 marked down to $1225. Pretty sweet price for a 5-zip.

Anyone know when Mr. Porter is doing 2nd markdowns? I can't believe they only started with that sad 30% when net-a-porter started at 50%.

Believe it. Plenty of things have sold out just fine with 30% off...
